This is a free photocopiable salvation tract to be used in door-to-door evangelism. This idea of this tract is to photocopy a couple of hundred of them, and then use them in evangelism, reading the verses and explaining these verses in presenting the gospel.

  • To “have” the Son = Salvation

1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…

  • Eternal Life = Relieve in Jesus Christ

John 6:47He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

  • You have personally receive Christ

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

  • Not believing = Condemned to Hell.

John 3:15 …whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in… the only begotten Son of God.

4 Steps to be Saved:

1. Recognize our problem, sin.
2. Decide to correct it, repentance
3. Believe (this is to accept or receive) in Jesus as your personal Saviour
4. Confess Jesus publicly.

4 Conditions to be Save: understand it, want it, receive it, and be sincere.

1. Recognize you are a Sinner.

Without recognizing your need, you cannot be saved.

Luk 5:31 They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

We are all Sinners

Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,… 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him (God) a liar, and his word is not in us.

The Consequence of sin is physical and eternal death

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death
Rom 5:12 …death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Every man has this sin problem)
Eze 18:4,20 the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

We are all under the condemnation of God.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

  • There is no purgatory, nor second chance.
  • There is no reincarnation, nor returning in another body.
  • After death… Lazarus awoke in paradise (Luke 16:19–31).  Dives in hell. Hell does exist!

Nobody has leverage with God

Act 10:34 God is no respecter of persons:

  • God is not impressed with any human being. Nobody has an “advantage” with God because of whom that person thinks he is.

To break the law in only 1 point is to be guilty

Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

  • Only 1 single infraction is enough to cause you to go to jail. The same with God. One single sin is all you need to go to hell.

Good Works do not erase either crimes nor sins.

Gal 3:11 no man is justified by the law in the sight of God

  • Good works do not get you out of jail. In law, any good you have done does not excuse your crimes.

2. Repent of your sins.

(“Repentance- You are in a spiritual road, and by your own decision, you must completely turn around and abandon what you thought was good, and follow what God says is good.)

Psa 34:18 The LORD saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Act 17:30 God.. commandeth all men every where to repent
Luke 13:5 but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Jer 26:3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.(God responds to our repentance)

3. Believe in Jesus as your personal Saviour

A. Salvation is not for Works but by means of faith.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  • Mercy – not receiving just punishment you deserve
  • Grace – birthday present, unmerited favor
  • You are not saved if you have faith in your Works, even if it is beside faith in Jesus. The Bible teaches that  it is not what you do, but what Jesus has done on the Cross of Calvary.
  • Other Lovers – No woman will accept her husband if he shows up with other lovers, because love is singular, and so God will not allow any other confidence in any person or thing beside faith in Jesus. God is very jealous, only Him.

Exo 34:14 thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
(Jesus + Mary ¹ salvation)
(Jesus + your works ¹ salvation)

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;…

  • Our works don’t count for anything with God.

B.  Jesus is the only Savior.

Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD (Jehovah); and beside me there is no saviour.

(The Jehovah’s Witnesses focus on Jehovah not Jesus.)

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

(Mary is excluded)

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (apart from “Jesus”) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
(JWs say “Jehovah” is the name, not “Jesus”)

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

If you add works, or other mediators, anyone except Jesus and Jesus alone, then you are not saved.

C. Jesus is the sacrifice in your place

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness…

(Jesus paid the price on the cross)

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things… 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Jesus had to bleed)

  • We believe in Jesus’ justice rather than in our own good works, and therefore God sees us without our sins.

D.  Jesus is God

Why is this important? Because many men of God like John the Baptist have died, but God never accepted these deaths because (1) they were themselves sinners, (2) because they were not God incarnate. Jesus made an issue of correctly identifying Jesus as fully divine. To make an error in “who is Jesus” is to not be saved.

Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child… call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

For Mormons For Jehovah’s Witnesses
What they Relieve: Jesus is “a god” apart from God the Father. Jesus and Lucifer were supposedly brothers, among many more “brothers” (the angels) and each of these will be gods some day. Every good Mormon man will become like the angels, and then like god almighty, creator of his own universe. What they Relieve: Jesus is not God Almighty, Jehovah, but an inferior god. Jesus was according to them the first created creature. They don’t explain how Jesus can be a true god, but somehow less than Jehovah, and yet hold there is only one true God. They say Jesus is god, not a false god, but reject equality with the Father, and reject the Trinity.
Gen 3:5 your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Doctrine of Eternal Progression:
Men will become as God.
The lie of the serpent again.

God does not change (progress) Hebrews 13:8; 1:12.

Deu 6:4 The LORD our God is one LORD:

Our God is the only God,

Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses,… before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Yahweh Jehovah is Elohim Gen 2:4; Deu 4:35; Psa 100:3

Exo 3:14 I Am = Jesus Jn 8:456–59
Heb 1:3 Jesus=essence of God
Phil 2:6–7 being equal  to GodJesus = Jehovah

Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Mat 3:3 The voice of one… crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight OT Jehovah God, NT refers to Jesus.

Worship him – Mat 2:2, 11; 14:33; 28:9; Jn 9:35–38; Heb 1:6

Calling him “God” -  Jn. 10:28; Heb 1:8 “of the son, Your throne oh God”

Pray to Jesus as God – Acts 7:55–60; Psal. 116:4; Zec – 13:9.

Catholics relieve that Jesus is God, the Savoiur, but they add Mary, the Church, good works, and the sacraments to faith in Jesus.

Catholicism proposes to worship images

Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Dt 4:15–19

Deu 27:15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands…

God the Father commanded that we are to “all worship” the Son (Heb 1:6), and angels refused worship to themselves (Rev 22:8–9), as did the men of God (Acts 14:11–15), but Jesus accepted worship to his person.

4. Public Confession of Jesus as your Saviour.

This is not works to be saved, but demanding a quality to saving faith, that it not be hidden.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

  • You have to publicly before men confess Jesus Christ as your Saviour.

Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Won’t you stop now and ask Jesus into your heart?

One thought on “The Plan of Salvation v3_3

  1. Please note that we have changed this tract to put the verses for Jehovah’s Witnesses and Catholics into the footnotes, because my presentation door-to-door is usually giving them a copy to follow along with me, and the Catholics and Jehovah’s Witnesses start complaining about those parts before we get through the basic presentation. Therefore I have moved this stuff into the footnotes, and have other tracts specifically for JWs and Catholics. We are in version 4 of this present tract.
